Topic: “Level of Care Determination & RCF/ALF Person Centered Care Planning”

Presenter: Summer Whittenberg, SSUS

Learning about nursing home LOC determination in an RCF/ALF setting is essential to providing person centered care. This training will provide you with a better understanding of how nursing home LOC is determined and how those criteria guide service decisions. It will also help clarify how residents’ individual needs align with care planning to ensure they receive appropriate, individualized support. Additionally, it explains why certain tasks are not applicable to all residents, reinforcing the importance of tailoring care rather than applying a one-size fits all approach.
